The AI Infrastructure Layer
for Wildlife Security

WildGuard Inc. is developing offline-first edge AI designed to detect poaching, predator incursions, and human-wildlife conflict in remote conservation environments. Our design goals are local threat classification, sub-200ms inference, and zero cloud dependency.

Target: Sub-200ms Inference
Design Goal: Offline Operation
Institutional Seed Round: $3M - $5M

See the Grid in Action

A concept demonstration of planned threat detection, triage, and ranger coordination workflows — not live deployments or validated results.

The Problem

Conservation is reactive. Poaching is not.

Traditional wildlife monitoring relies on human patrols, delayed reporting, and cloud-dependent systems that can struggle in remote environments. Threats may be confirmed too late. WildGuard aims to help address that gap.

The Solution

Edge AI Designed to Support Faster Ranger Response

WildGuard is designed to classify threats in under 200 milliseconds on low-power field hardware, with zero cloud dependency. Planned capabilities include day-and-night detection and alerts to rangers and conservancy managers over low-bandwidth links when available. These are design goals, not validated performance.

01

DETECT

Planned edge sensors are designed to monitor activity in remote ecosystems without cloud processing.

02

CLASSIFY

On-device computer vision is being developed to classify humans, wildlife, and threat behavior, targeting sub-200ms inference.

03

ALERT

Planned encrypted alerts are designed to notify rangers and conservancy managers over low-bandwidth links when available.

Our Mission

PROTECTING EARTH'S
MOST VULNERABLE SPECIES

WildGuard was founded on a simple belief: endangered ecosystems deserve technology designed for their needs. We aim to combine edge AI, threat intelligence, and ranger coordination to support wildlife protection.

The Edge Moat

WildGuard Design Goals

Offline-First Design

Designed to run AI on low-power edge hardware with zero cloud dependency in remote conservation environments.

On-Device Classification Target

Computer vision under development to distinguish humans from wildlife, targeting sub-200ms inference. Performance remains to be validated.

Planned Encrypted Alerts

Designed to support ranger notifications over available low-bandwidth links, with the goal of faster response.

Scalability Goal

The planned architecture aims to support deployments across protected areas without relying on cloud processing.
